Safety is the number one priority when posing your newborn
Babies are very bendy and flexible but that doesn't mean that a Photographer should just pose without any limitations. I have been trained in Newborn Safety and certified through the American Association of Newborn of Photography Safety group as well as am a Mom of 3 children. I know which poses are safe and which ones must be done with a bit of "photoshop magic" to remove supporting hands. I always say baby led poses are the best. There are a number of poses that professional Photographers know that are safe for baby and it is important you choose a photographer that is experienced and trained.
As you can see from below, there are many cute and safe options! All outfits and wraps are provided. We can change up the same pose by switching out a bonnet or headband, adding a stuffed animal or a wrap. I will always conduct a session by listening to the baby and what they feel comfortable doing. There are some poses that are easier than others and some I say are, "baby, level expert." It's important to follow with what baby can do and not force any positions.
It is important to let me know if your baby was breech or had any complications so I can be aware of restrictions.
